8th Grade Music Assessment
Each band member in 8th grade will complete the Worcester County Public Schools 8th Grade Music Assessment. The assessment is administered in May of each school year. In Worcester County, these assessments are used to track each student's general music skills and to aid their transition to high school band programs.
Below is a list of terms that each student should know by the end of each grading quarter. These terms are also covered in band rehearsals on a daily basis. Please use the files below to prepare and review for the assessment.
